Wanted to introduce my youngest student, Karis!
On a blustery December day, my faithful students braced the cold to come to class and learn about Luminous Light!
Here is a sampling of their creations…
The Dale House Project is a community of Christians committed to providing residential treatment for troubled youth and to train student staff in an accredited graduate program for the purpose of providing effective treatment to this at-risk population.
Each year Dale House takes in hundreds of troubled young people. Most are referred by the Department of Human Services or the Division of Youth Corrections. Though we are licensed to keep children ages 16-21, most of our residents are 18 years old. The average length of stay is four to six months. We occasionally take referrals from families or friends. Funding for the project comes from government agencies who place children at Dale House and contributions from churches, civic organizations, and individuals.
If you want to make a difference in a young persons life…please find it in your hearts to donate to The Dale House Project! C’mon now…do you really need another pair of new shoes??
